FLORIDA STATE - Florida's coffee scene is getting a major injection of West Coast energy. Better Buzz Coffee Roasters, a wildly popular California-based chain known for its vibrant atmosphere and signature drinks, has officially made its Sunshine State debut.
On October 29, 2026, the brand planted its first Florida flag in the Tampa suburb of Brandon.
Bringing the "Best Drink Ever" to Tampa Bay
With a massive, loyal following back in California, Better Buzz brings a highly stylized approach to the typical coffee shop experience. The company's ethos centers on creating spaces where people actually want to hang out.
"Whether you're stopping by for your morning coffee, grabbing breakfast with the family, or catching up with a friend, we want Better Buzz to feel like a place you'll look forward to visiting," a company representative noted ahead of the launch.
The menu features a robust lineup of specialty espresso beverages, cold brews, and seasonal treats. Still, they are perhaps most famous for their signature "Best Drink Ever"—a bold claim that Brandon locals are now able to put to the test.
Opening Day Perks and Holiday Menus
To celebrate their inaugural Florida opening, Better Buzz came armed with plenty of perks for early adopters. The first 200 guests to visit the new Brandon location received a limited-edition Brandon hat, and visitors could snag reusable Better Buzz cups while supplies lasted.
For those who missed the opening day rush, there is still plenty to look forward to. The cafe is scheduled to debut its highly anticipated holiday drink menu and seasonal treats on Monday, November 2.
The new Brandon cafe caters to early risers and night owls alike, operating with long daily hours from 4:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
