Taking over the recently expanded Stateside Live! venue, this Sports Complex culinary takeover will be the festival's largest iteration yet. With a staggering lineup of entertainment, food, and interactive attractions, the event is transforming South Philadelphia into a green-tinted paradise for foodies and partygoers alike.
A Jam-Packed Entertainment Lineup
For those mapping out their weekend, the complete National Pickle Day itinerary is packed from noon to night.
Far from a quiet tasting event, the festival grounds will feature a massive Pickle RAVE led by DJ Jay Roy, live performances from the South Philly String Band, and country music from Shot of Southern. Attendees can also test their limits in the Brine Chug Challenge, ride a mechanical pickle, or snap photos with a towering 25-foot inflatable pickle jar named Big Brine.
Making History in Costume
The afternoon's highlight will undoubtedly be the "Parade of the Pickles," where attendees will attempt a massive Philly costume world record.
Aiming to officially beat the current Guinness record of 888 people dressed as fruits or vegetables, organizers are providing 1,200 numbered pickle suits to early ticket buyers. This massive, verified gathering will ensure that Philadelphia leaves its permanent mark on the record books.
