Tapster, a Chicago-based self-service bar concept, is moving to Philadelphia. The restaurant will open its Philadelphia outpost early next year in a 3,600-square-foot space at 110-16 South 16th Street. The new location is part of Tapster's planned national expansion. The company has locations in Chicago, Seattle, Cleveland, and Austin.
Food options are also available for hungry patrons. Ali Mohsen stopped by to get details on pricing and why the owner chose Philly for the mini-chain’s first East Coast location.
“We are thrilled to be open in Philadelphia and offer customers an innovative way to experience our selection of drinks by the ounce," said owner John Smith. "We look forward to providing a unique atmosphere where people can relax and enjoy their favorite beverages."
